Riding Lessons

Private lessons on a Frisian horse at Sable Ranch or submit your Riding video for a virtual lesson  (see horse training below)

Allison is certified by Colorado Sate University's Instructor and Trainer program. CSU certified to teach beginners all the way up to teaching you how to train a horse. 

Friesians are a rare and special breed and getting to take a lesson on one of these horses is a rare opportunity that is rarely shared with the public. 

$60 for the hour.

If you have 2 younger students that want to share the time we can arrange for 1.5 hours for $90 

The lesson plans can be designed to suit your goals with horses. 

Riding will be 2 handed for proper balanced riding, but saddles can be Western, English, Dressage and even Baroque. 

 

ALL riders and equine participants must sign a release form prior to participating in Equine activities. Please also sign and acknowledge the safety rules.

Allison is a Colorado Sate University Graduate with extended education in Equine Reproduction. Years of experience with the unique Friesian Reproductive needs. She can assist with Ultrasound, Embryo Transfer, Artificial Insemination. Semen Collection, processing and shipping.

Saddle Fitting

Saddle fit is very important to the proper development of the horse and rider.  Poor saddle fit can cause bucking, resistance to aids and compensation muscle development. Schedule a virtual fittings or an in person fittings at Sable Ranch. We can arrange barn fittings, depending on distance from Sable Ranch.

Video Lessons

Arrange for a video lesson to help you train your horse, or have a video riding lesson. 

Submit a video via a you tube link to Allison. You will receive feedback with time stamps references for you to review. $35 per 10 min. of video provided, $35 minimum cost for shorter videos.
